COMMUNITY MEDITATION

Tuesdays, 7-8PM

Community Meditation at Tenth House is an opportunity to practice in a supportive environment. Community Meditations are gently led by practitioners of different meditation disciplines with a focus on somatic integration. Community nights are by donation and contributions are greatly appreciated.

MEDITATION WORKSHOPS

Meditation workshops are opportunities to experience deeper instruction, longer meditation times, and the unique imprint of different meditative traditions. Workshop times and cost are determined on a case by case basis.

Thinking about Thinking-A Meditation Class with Megan Mook

What are thoughts? Where do they come from? And more importantly, what do we do with them? In this interactive class, Megan Mook will offer accessible, real world techniques for working with the full range of human thinking — in all of its exquisite messiness.

Tuesday, Sept 26, 7:00-8:15pm EST, $20

Megan Mook holds a Master’s in Buddhist Studies and has over 1,500 hours of Registered Yoga Teacher Training. A long-term student of both Tibetan Buddhism and yoga, Megan has lived and studied in traditional monastic settings all over the world, immersing herself in the practice of Buddhism, yoga, and natural healing.  Megan regularly teaches meditation classes and retreats, and leads international Buddhist pilgrimages for Tricycle Buddhist Review. The heart of Megan's teaching is being present with warm-hearted tenderness and embodied awareness.
